Job Description – Manual QA Engineer (5+ Years)

Location: Hyderabad (Helius Office)

Experience: 5+ Years

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to validate functional, integration, and UAT test cycles for enterprise insurance platforms. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform Functional, Regression, System, Integration & UAT testing.
• Validate end-to-end business workflows and data accuracy.
• Log and track defects with proper severity and priority.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and defect triage calls.
• Work closely with Dev, BA, and Product teams.
• Prepare test summary reports and release sign-off documents.
• Support UAT with business users and post-production validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Manual QA / Functional Testing
• Strong knowledge of STLC & Defect Lifecycle
• Experience in JIRA / ALM / TestRail
• Hands-on with Database Testing (SQL)
• Experience in Agile / Scrum projects
• Excellent communication & documentation skills

Nice to Have

• BFSI / Insurance domain experience
• Exposure to ETL / Data validation
• Basic automation knowledge is a plus
