QA Engineer - Release Engineering

Description

We are seeking a QA Engineer - Release Engineering to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software releases by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for release pipelines.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality before release.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
• Analyze test results and document defects in the tracking system.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and performance improvements.
• Help define and implement testing strategies and processes for continuous integration and delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Shell.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
