QA Engineer II Building Pipeline

 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to determine testability within defined timelines.
• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API-based applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts using Selenium and RestAssured.
• Execute regression, integration, and system-level testing in Agile release cycles.
• Identify, report, track, and validate defects through to resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review application code and test automation code to ensure quality and best practices.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports, metrics, and quality insights for stakeholders.
• Advocate quality best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Stay current with emerging QA tools, technologies, and industry trends to improve testing efficiency.
