Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and create test strategies.
• Execute automated and manual test cases during the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and report bugs with clear documentation.
• Maintain test environments, data, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
• Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Contribute to improving QA automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Ensure mobile app quality across different OS versions, screen sizes, and devices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Appium.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or other testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and emulators/simulators.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, and ability to test mobile app integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in native app testing for both Android and iOS.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, JMeter).
• Familiarity with App Store / Play Store deployment and crash monitoring tools (e.g., Crashlytics, Firebase).
