We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer responsible for ensuring software quality through functional testing, defect management, and validation against business requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing methodologies, test case preparation, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

'Responsibilities'

• Analyze functional and business requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate application functionality, workflows, and data consistency.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standardized reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure defect resolution and quality improvement.
• Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test strategy discussions.
• Maintain test documentation, including test reports, test metrics, and execution results.
• Assist with release validation and post-production verification.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and quality initiatives.

• Experience in Manual/Functional Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
• Ability to create test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
