QA Engineer

This role is for a QA Engineer with extensive experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts, analyzing bugs, and ensuring the overall quality of software products.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues.
• Create and execute test scripts and test data for module, integration, and system testing.
• Conduct all stages of software testing, including Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Black box testing, System testing, Regression testing, and Integration testing.
• Perform performance testing using automation frameworks like JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Track and report defects using tools like Bugzilla and JIRA.
• Maintain documentation for all testing activities, from Test Plans and Test Cases to Test Scripts and defect reports.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum development process.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Experience in web application and mobile application testing.
• Strong experience in Functionality, Usability, Interface, Performance, and Security testing.
• Experience in Rest APIs testing using tools like Postman and SOAP-UI.
• Experience in all stages of the software testing lifecycle, including Requirement Gathering, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and Test Plan preparation.
• Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
