QA Engineer

• Good in Manual and Functional Testing.
• Understanding of complete STLC & SDLC.
• Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
• Work with software developers and project support teams
• Identify business requirements
• Develop Test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
• Performance testing.
• Good experience in Regression, smoke and sanity testing.

Secondary Skills

Nice to have knowledge of -

• Domain Knowledge of Import /Export, Shipping & Logistics applications.
• Automation testing and tool.
• PL/SQL, SQL
• Worked in agile environment.

Primary Role & Responsibility

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate;
• parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to
• programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Analyzing and monitoring the performance of products
• Developing and implementing test plans for product defects
• Reviewing and approving test results
• Developing and tracking test metrics
• Helping maintain the quality of products
• Working closely with the product team on the design and development of new features
• Creating and maintaining documentation and tutorials
• Implementing new processes and creating new tools to automate testing
