Job Description
- Design, develop, execute, analyze results and maintain test suites and automated test frameworks for backend systems. Leverage Java, SQL, Cloud Services, and testing methodologies to ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test strategies for backend services.
- Implement automated test frameworks using Java, Groovy, and BDD tools (Spock, Cucumber). Participate in code reviews to improve the quality and reliability of the backend codebase.
- Continuously enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Incorporate DevOps and Quality practices into testing processes to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Must Have. Experience Over 7 years of experience with minimum 3 years on Automation. Proficiency in Java (or similar) programming language and experience with creating and maintaining automation frameworks and automation scripts.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, Spock, TestNG. Strong experience with backend technologies such as RESTful APIs, SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake), and server-side frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot). Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, MSK etc Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be team-oriented and yet be capable of working largely on your own with minimum supervision. Qualification. BE/btech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
