Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and backend services using Python.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across cloud databases (e.g., BigQuery).
• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Manage jobs, logs, and process monitoring in Unix/Linux environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data analysts, and other developers to support scalable cloud-based architectures.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data or system issues in production.
• Document system designs, processes, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and backend development
• Strong understanding of SQL, with experience in data extraction and transformation
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux command-line tools and scripting (e.g., Bash)

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Cloud IAM, service accounts, and GCP security best practices
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer)
• Version control using Git
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or Terraform for GCP
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana
