Python and shell scripting, AWS/Azure/GCP

Job Summary:

The Cloud Automation Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining automation scripts and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. This role ensures efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-native services using scripting languages such as Python and Shell.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automation scripts in Python and Shell for cloud operations and infrastructure tasks
• Deploy and manage cloud resources in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Automate cloud security, monitoring, and backup processes
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams for cloud integrations
• Monitor system performance and optimize cloud resource usage
• Troubleshoot issues in cloud environments and implement long-term fixes
• Document cloud architectures, automation procedures, and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in scripting (Python and Shell)
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with cloud services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VMs, Storage, Functions, etc.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, monitoring tools)
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
