PYP Science Specialist

We are seeking a PYP Science Specialist to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and experience in developing and delivering a curriculum that inspires inquiry and exploration among young learners.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging and inquiry-based science curriculum for PYP students.
• Facilitate hands-on experiments and activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate science into the overall curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and understanding in science.
• Provide professional development for teachers on effective science teaching practices.
• Foster a love for science and inquiry among students.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in teaching science, preferably in an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) context.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and the PYP framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Passion for science education and a commitment to student-centered learning.
