Job Description
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and orders.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Maintain procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality, and performance.
- Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarify unclear items.
- Assist with the resolution of inventory discrepancies.
- Support inventory management by ensuring proper documentation and inventory levels.
- Follow up on overdue orders and update records accordingly.
- Respond to routine procurement inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
