PT using Jmeter, Load Runner Professional

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze non-functional requirements to develop comprehensive Test Plans, Workload Models (WLM), and Test Completion Reports (TCR) independently.
• Design and develop performance test scripts for various application types, including UI scripts, REST APIs, KAFKA, ESB Services, and MQ Scripts, primarily using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microfocus LoadRunner, covering a wide range of protocols such as Web, Web Services, Java, Citrix, MQ, and Oracle.
• Implement various performance test techniques including load, soak, volume, and stress testing to thoroughly evaluate the application under test.
• Utilize and analyze data from at least one monitoring tool, such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace, for test debugging, bottleneck analysis, and performance engineering purposes.
• Play a strong individual contributor role, taking ownership of tasks and delivering high-quality performance test artifacts.
• Develop custom code as needed to enhance test scripts or support specific testing scenarios.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on performance testing progress, results, and recommendations.
• Execute, enhance, and report on performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Build queries for Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace and perform result analysis and bottleneck identification.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter for scripting, enhancement, execution, and reporting.
• Well-versed in Microfocus LoadRunner, including various protocols like Web, Web Services, Java, Citrix, MQ, and Oracle.
• Experience with at least one monitoring tool such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace for test debugging and engineering.
• Ability to develop Test Plans, WLM, and TCR independently.
• Strong in client communications.
• Ability to write Custom Code.
• Basic knowledge of AWS, KAFKA, and MQ.
• Ability to write Basic DB queries.
• Knowledge of basic Unix commands.

Good to Have:

• Experience working in the Banking domain.
