Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager – Building Construction
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10–15 years of experience in building construction projects to lead and manage end-to-end project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
Site Management
- Supervise and coordinate site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Monitor daily construction activities and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth project progress.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost estimates.
- Track project expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Review contractor invoices, variations, and project expenditures.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions where necessary.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide progress updates to management.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Implement and monitor site safety procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including progress reports, schedules, and site records.
- Prepare regular status reports for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and site operations.
