Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Initiation:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines schedules, milestones, resources, and budget.
  • Establish project goals, timelines, and critical success factors with the client and internal teams.
  • Develop risk management and mitigation strategies to address potential challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Coordination and Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and guide project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members based on skills and expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and maintain clear and open communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, resolve issues, and address any blockers.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage expectations and ensure that any scope changes are documented and approved.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and monitor project risks, develop contingency plans, and proactively address any potential issues.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts that arise within the project team or with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that project scope is controlled and that changes are effectively managed.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that costs stay within the agreed limits.
  • Manage resource allocation, ensuring that the right people are assigned to the right tasks at the right time.
  • Track the project's progress against the plan, including budget, scope, and timeline, and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Quality Control and Delivery:
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinate the final review of project deliverables and ensure they meet all requirements before handover.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived properly.
  • Project Reporting:
  • Track project performance and generate regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Use project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) to document progress, identify risks, and track deliverables.
  • Evaluate project success against initial objectives, budget, and timeline.
  • Post-Project Evaluation:
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate what went well and what could be improved.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and team members to implement improvements for future projects.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of best practices for project management.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management within projects.
