Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering and Documentation

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare BOQ/BOM, MDL/DCI, billing break-up, and project schedules based on drawings and process data.
• Create purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Maintain detailed project records for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and dispatch activities.

Equipment Knowledge and Inspection

• Strong understanding of rotary packaged equipment such as centrifugal pumps, AODD pumps, agitators/mixers, dosing pump skids, SSF systems, CDS systems, CWTP, and CLO2 systems.
• Conduct witness inspections at vendor workshops and review ITP, QAP, and MQP related to mechanical equipment.

Project Execution and Coordination

• Monitor shop floor activities and generate progress reports.
• Resolve field and maintenance issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with vendors and purchase departments for material follow-up and timely delivery.
• Conduct internal coordination with all departments to ensure smooth project flow.

Client Interaction and Site Support

• Attend client review meetings and prepare minutes of meetings.
• Visit client sites/offices as required to resolve issues or attend technical meetings.
• Prepare packing lists for dispatch and handle dispatch-related activities.

Billing and Reporting

• Prepare billing plans to align with project execution timelines.
• Ensure timely billing and follow-up with clients for payments.
• Prepare project delay analysis reports and manage project handover to the client.

Education Qualifications:

• Not specified (assumed Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field)
