Job Description
- Oversees, scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources for project completion
- Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of key power equipment, including transformer, HT/LT panels, DG sets, and associated substation components.
- Oversee underground and overhead cable laying work, ensuring alignment with project drawings and adapting to site condition.
- Inspect and supervise cable installation, termination, and identification, ensuring high quality work across internal and external wiring system.
- Collaborate with the planning and execution teams to review MEP project BOQs, drawings, and ensure all installation meet project specification and work order.
- Oversee the implementation of quality control processes for electrical works in accordance with project engineering standards.
- Conduct quality audits for new and upgraded site, including substation, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, battery banks and cable termination.
- Inspect and ensure proper testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, such as LV/HV cables, panels, transformers, and capacitor bank.
- Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITLs) for electrical and instrumentation activities.
- Verify calibration of testing equipment and ensure all tests (Cable, UPS, Earth pits, Transformer Tests) are conducted per specification..
- Review electrical engineering technical specifications and bid documents for engineered equipment, materials engineering, and construction service contracts
- Ensures all punch list work is completed in a timely manner and that it does not interfere with the client s ability to occupy the space
