Production Trainee - Assistant Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate machines/equipment in assigned production areas.
• Assist in process setup, quality checks, and material handling.
• Record daily production data, downtime, and defects accurately.
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and store departments as required.
• Suggest improvements in production efficiency and safety (if applicable).
• Report shift-wise performance or issues to team leaders or engineers.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/plant setup.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (morning, evening, or night).
• Basic knowledge of production processes and machine operations.
• Understanding of 5S, Kaizen, or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and SOPs.
• Basic computer/data entry skills for reporting.
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
