Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Production Process Optimization :

  • Evaluate and enhance existing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline production workflows.

Quality Assurance :

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistent production of high-quality robotic products.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality standards.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :

  • Work closely with design and R&D teams to provide input on manufacturability and contribute to the development of new products.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.

Process Documentation :

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Train production staff on new processes and ensure adherence to established procedures.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :
  • Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and technical support teams to address equipment and machinery issues.

Test Jig Design :

  • Design and develop test jigs for electronic components, PCBs, Assemblies, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and specifications.
  • Implement automation scripts to optimize testing processes and increase efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for test jig designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and code documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of test jig configurations and changes.
  • Work closely with hardware and software teams to coordinate the integration of test jigs into the overall testing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and product development teams to understand testing requirements and improve test coverage.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field with minimum three years of work experience.
  • Proven experience in production engineering, preferably in the robotics or electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and quality control.
  • Proficient in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in diverse, multicultural environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
