Product Lead Commercial Lines Underwriting

Primary Responsibilities

• Underwriting of Commercial Line products (Fire, Engineering, Miscellaneous, Liability limited to Employee Compensation & Public Liability – Industrial / Non-Industrial / Act).
• Responsible for preparation of quotations and referrals as per authority levels.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all underwriting approvals and guidelines.
• Portfolio management and market benchmarking to identify areas for correction.
• Conduct training sessions related to commercial products and underwriting processes for internal business teams and external members as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with distribution teams and intermediaries to grow the business mix.
• Contribute to achieving top-line and loss ratio (LR) targets through regular reviews with all stakeholders.
• Maintain business data, prepare MIS reports, and provide data for analysis as required.
