Procurement Buyer || Maize/wheat/Agri commodities

This role is for a Procurement Buyer with expertise in maize, wheat, and other agri-commodities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, from crop estimation and market intelligence to warehouse operations, quality assurance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Crop Surveys and Estimation: Conduct crop surveys to estimate arrivals at the mandi for upcoming seasons and collaborate with stakeholders to gather accurate data on crop quantities.
• Commodity Operations: Manage commodity arrival and dispatch activities at warehouses, ensuring proper documentation and coordinating with logistics teams.
• Data & ERP Synchronization: Perform data entry using tablets during various processes (WCA, QCA, PV) and sync data with the ERP system for real-time tracking.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards during crop arrivals and dispatches, working with quality control teams to ensure compliance.
• Compliance & Documentation: Submit Mandi Returns on time, adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements, and ensure accurate record-keeping in all registers and documents.
• Stock Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and maintain stock levels as per the Commodity Holding Register (CHR). Prepare daily reports including buying reports, dispatch reports, and other operational reports.
• Market Intelligence: Visit the mandi to collect data on quantity, price, and market trends, providing timely market intelligence to inform business decisions.
