Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Professional to join our team in Ambattur Estate, Chennai. This role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and negotiating with vendors to preparing purchase agreements and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies.

Job Description

• Follow up and obtain quotations from vendors.
• Prepare price comparison for the prices submitted by the vendors.
• Develop new vendors.
• Preparation and execution of purchase orders/LOI/agreements for the approved vendor and pricing along with terms and conditions.
• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors for the requirements raised by the stakeholders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
• Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Oversee and manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Prepare related procurement reports.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 4+ Years in procurement.
• Languages Preferred: English, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

• Shift: General.
