Procedure Doctor Aesthetics

A Procedure Doctor in Aesthetics (or Aesthetic Physician/Doctor) performs non-surgical cosmetic treatments like Botox, fillers, lasers, peels, and body contouring; develops personalized plans; conducts consultations; educates patients on skincare; and maintains records, all while staying updated on new techniques and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in a clinical setting. 

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Consultation & Diagnosis: Evaluate skin conditions, understand aesthetic goals, and recommend suitable treatments.
• Perform Procedures: Administer injectables (Botox, fillers), perform laser therapies (hair removal, skin rejuvenation), chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other non-invasive treatments.
• Treatment Planning: Create customized plans for skin health and appearance, focusing on natural-looking results.
• Patient Education: Advise on skincare, post-procedure care, and lifestyle to maintain results.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and follow-up care plans.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict hygiene, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines.
• Stay Current: Continuously learn about new technologies and advancements in aesthetic medicine. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Medical Degree: Often a specialization in Dermatology or related field.
• Licensure: Valid medical license to practice.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in lasers, injectables, peels, etc..
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, artistic eye, and patient-focused approach.
