Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, SecOps and Network Engineer!
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of robust cloud and infrastructure security strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as SOC1, SOC2, and GDPR. You will be hands-on in building automated, scalable, and secure environments while driving continuous improvements across security, networking, and DevOps processes.
Responsibilities
Design and implement security and compliance strategies in alignment with SOC1, SOC2, and GDPR standards
Develop, maintain, and enforce cloud security policies and RBAC models, ensuring proper segregation of duties
Conduct continuous security assessments for edge infrastructure and cloud-based services
Implement and manage data protection mechanisms and incident response procedures
Automate collection and analysis of database access/user activity to support audit and compliance
Engage third-party security experts for audits and risk assessments
Configure and monitor Azure Firewall and other network perimeter security tools
Build alerting and monitoring dashboards for networking events, with intuitive UI for operational visibility
Work with networking technologies and protocols to ensure secure and efficient data flow
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Utilize Kubernetes (K8S), Docker, and microservices for secure application deployment
Manage certificates, secrets, and key stores to enhance security posture
Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell and Python for automation
Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
Provide advanced support for Windows system administration
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant years of experience in Security Operations or Cloud Infrastructure with a focus on Azure
Strong expertise in Azure platform services, especially related to network and security operations
Hands-on experience with security governance, SOC2 readiness, GDPR, and audit automation
Proficiency with Azure Firewall, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure security design
Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
Familiarity with SOC1/SOC2 report generation processes and database-level access audits
Experience with security tools and observability stacks (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)
Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices experience in production environments
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate is a plus
