Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Java GCP
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and full-stack applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
Design & Development
Develop and maintain scalable Java 8+ backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and related testing frameworks.
Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines.
DevOps & CI/CD
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services.
Google Cloud Platform
Deploy Java applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)/ App Engine/Cloud Run
Containerize applications using Docker
Use and integrate GCP services such as Cloud SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
Agile Collaboration
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance
Strong hands-on experience with:
Java 8 or above versions
Spring Boot
Microservices
Junit or Unit Testing or test-driven development
Google Cloud
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client
Preferred Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with:
CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI
Kafka, or Messaging system
Angular, Rxjs, Ngrx
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stack driver.
Good to have GCP Certification
