Principal Biostatistician (Non-Clinical Statistician)

We are seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join a leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization. The ideal candidate will be an independent and collaborative professional with expertise in non-clinical statistics. This role involves taking statistical responsibility for various experiments, developing analysis plans, and ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of statistical work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field experts in Research and Pre-Clinical Development to plan, execute, and analyze relevant experiments independently.
• Design experiments that are feasible under given lab conditions.
• Provide support for sample-size calculations and applications for animal testing licenses.
• Take statistical responsibility for one or more standard experiments.
• Develop the statistical analysis plan for experiments, ensuring overall consistency within and between projects.
• Facilitate the overall organization and coordination of statistical activities for specific experiments and small projects.
• Lead virtual cross-functional sub-teams within the NCS/SIS of DS&AI.
• Assume responsibility for the production and accuracy of statistical deliverables and the interpretation of results.
• Work independently on routine and complex statistical questions and tasks.
• Develop and implement standard processes for the analysis of routine experiments.
• Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of statistical work outsourced to external providers.
