Principal Application Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Evolve and enhance the organization's application security functions and services.
• Manage integration with vulnerability scanning tools including Static Code Analysis (SCA), Dynamic Code Analysis (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis.
• Discover security exposures, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans.
• Report and fix technical debt related to security.
• Actively participate in security initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Follow security best practices in all assigned tasks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, DevSecOps, and Product teams.
• Provide recommendations on security controls, best practices, and vulnerability remediation.
• Contribute to securing Kubernetes environments and other cloud-native deployments.
