Primary Teacher - Maths & EVS

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Your Subject (60% of time)

• Use existing resources to design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans
• Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class (around 30 students per class)
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and provide feedback
• Foster a positive school culture focused on learning and joy
• Collaborate with parents through regular meetings to ensure a supportive learning environment

Mentoring Students (20% of time)

• Mentor 15-20 students throughout the year
• Develop strategies to ensure students have strong study habits, high attendance, and motivation to excel
• Guide students in identifying a suitable career path after Grade X

Leading Projects in School (20% of time)

• Collaborate with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead school-wide projects such as Annual Day, Sports Day, and Hobby Clubs
• Use these projects to develop leadership skills and mentor new teachers
