Primary Teacher - English and SST

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Your Subject (60% of time)

• Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans
• Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class (approximately 30 students in each class)
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and provide feedback to students
• Build a positive and strong school culture focused on learning and joy
• Collaborate with parents through regular meetings to ensure a positive learning environment

Mentoring Students (20% of time)

• Mentor approximately 15-20 students throughout the year
• Develop plans to ensure students have strong study habits, high attendance, and motivation to excel
• Share plans with other teachers to ensure alignment across the ecosystem
• Guide students in identifying a suitable career path after Grade X

Leading Projects in School (20% of time)

• Collaborate with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead multiple projects such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc.
• Strengthen leadership skills through these projects and mentor new teachers
