Orchids The International School is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning environment for young children.
• Teaching Methods:
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, games, technology integration, and real-world applications.
• Learning Environment:
• Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters a love of mathematics in all students.
• Lesson Planning:
• Create and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lesson plans in alignment with the early childhood and CBSE curriculum.
• Child Development:
• Deliver interactive math lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of each child.
• Parent Communication:
• Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Activity Organization:
• Organize and conduct creative activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play to enhance learning.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with teaching assistants and participate in teacher training, school events, and extracurricular activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Education or a related field
• B.Ed. qualification is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching Mathematics and nurturing young learners
• Ability to foster a creative and stimulating learning environment
• Minimum 1 year of prior teaching experience preferred
• Only female candidates below 45 years of age are eligible for this position
