Pre Purchase Reviewer

Key Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan applications for eligibility, accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct Pre-Purchase Review (PPR) checks and document findings in the loan origination system (LOS).
• Verify loan documents for Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan types.
• Apply knowledge of ATR/QM, RESPA, TRID, and other mortgage compliance regulations.
• Ensure alignment with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines.
• Add suspense conditions clearly in LOS for any deficiencies identified during the review.
• Collaborate with underwriting, closing, and funding teams to address discrepancies and ensure smooth loan processing.
• Maintain high attention to detail and support customer service excellence by providing timely and accurate feedback.
• Analyze situations and make decisions to mitigate risk and ensure loan compliance.
