Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with overall marketing goals
- Draft press releases, media kits, Q&As, briefing documents, and executive bios
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and influencers
- Secure high-impact media coverage in top-tier, trade, and regional publications
- Manage external PR agencies or freelancers as needed
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Handle crisis communications and reputation management when required
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, HR) to align messaging
- Organize press events, media briefings, and speaking engagements for executives
- Report on PR performance metrics and media ROI
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in a public relations or media role (in-house or agency)
- Proven track record of securing media coverage
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong media network and understanding of media landscape
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
