Overview: Expert in Power BI and SQL

Re:Sources is seeking an individual with deep expertise in Power BI and SQL to join their team. This role focuses on leveraging data visualization best practices to design, develop, test, and deploy insightful Power BI reports and dashboards. You will work closely with clients to ensure their reporting needs are met and contribute to maintaining the quality and functionality of data visualizations.

Responsibilities

As an Expert in Power BI and SQL, you will:

• Possess deep knowledge of Power BI and data visualization best practices.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI Reports.
• Work with clients to generate and maintain visually appealing and insightful reports.
• Create custom visualizations and implement row-level security on data.
• Build data models and develop dashboards using Power BI desktop.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Collaborate with application developers to design and develop Power BI data visualizations.
• Use advanced level calculations on the data set using DAX functions in Power BI.
• Test formulas and visualizations to ensure their functionality.
• Preferred domain experience includes Financial and Workforce data.
