Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy PowerBI reports, dashboards, and data models tailored to business needs
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications
- Connect to data sources, import data, and transform it using PowerQuery and DAX
- Create complex measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and optimize report performance
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain data governance standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Stay updated with Power BI enhancements and best practices
- Mentor team members and recommend process improvements
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (2008 or later), including DAX and Power Query (M)
- Strong Oracle 12c experience with SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions)
- Good conceptual knowledge of databases and data warehouse design principles
- Ability to tune database performance and analyze SQL query plans
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and unit testing
