Power BI Consultant

Pradeepit Consulting Services is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Consultant to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires expertise in Power BI development, DAX expressions, and data modeling. You will be responsible for designing and building interactive dashboards, optimizing data performance, and collaborating with clients to transform complex data into actionable insights, particularly with SAP HANA 2.0 integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Development & Data Visualization: Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. Extract and transform data into meaningful visual insights for effective business decision-making. Continuously optimize Power BI performance and report efficiency.
• DAX & Data Analysis: Develop complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations to support advanced reporting needs. Understand and apply DAX Studio for performance optimization. Implement advanced calculations and measures for insightful analytics.
• Data Modeling & SQL: Design efficient data models (Fact-Dimension, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema). Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation, ensuring high-performance querying and reporting with large datasets.
• SAP HANA 2.0 Integration: Work extensively with SAP HANA 2.0 for data extraction, modeling, and reporting. Optimize Power BI-SAP HANA integrations for superior performance.
• Performance Optimization & Data Flows: Utilize DAX Studio for thorough query tuning and performance optimization. Manage and optimize data flows and data warehouse solutions to streamline data processes.
• Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with business users to gather requirements and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders and present findings and recommendations to clients effectively.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Power BI dashboard design, visual storytelling, and report development.
• Strong experience in DAX expressions and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL data querying, transformations, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Fact-Dimension, Star Schema).
• Experience working with SAP HANA 2.0 for data integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant or in a similar data analysis, visualization, and reporting role.
• Typically seeking candidates with 6-8 years of experience.
