Job Description
- App Development with Power Apps: They design, develop, and customize business applications using Microsoft Power Apps. This involves creating user interfaces, forms, and functionalities using a low-code/no-code approach to suit specific business requirements.
- Canvas and Model-Driven Apps: Building both canvas apps (more design flexibility where users can create the layout freely) and model-driven apps (structured apps using existing data models and components).
- Integration with Data Sources: Connecting Power Apps to various data sources, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Excel, or other cloud-based and on-premises data sources. This involves configuring data connections and ensuring seamless data flow.
- Power Automate Workflow Automation: Creating automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes, trigger actions based on specific events or data changes, and automate tasks across multiple applications and services.
- Customization and Configuration: Customizing applications and workflows to meet specific business needs, configuring security settings, roles, and permissions within Power Apps and Power Automate.
- UI/UX Design: Designing user-friendly interfaces by creating screens, forms, and controls that align with user requirements and ensure a smooth user experience.
- Testing and Debugging: Conducting testing of developed applications and workflows to identify and resolve issues, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Documentation and Training: Creating documentation, guidelines, and user manuals for developed apps and workflows. Providing training or support to end-users on using these applications and automated processes.
- Integration with Power Platform: Collaborating with other components of the Microsoft Power Platform, such as Power BI (for analytics) and Power Virtual Agents (for chatbots), to create comprehensive solutions that leverage multiple functionalities.
- Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with new features, updates, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem to leverage the latest capabilities and improvements.
