Job Description

Required Technical Skill Set- PostgreSQL DB Adminstration

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• 04-06 years of hands on experience in PostgreSQL database Adminstartion 
• Proficient in writing in shell scripting to automate and simplify ops work.
• Basic operation knowledge of Windows/Linux
• Knowledge of AWS /Azure cloud
• Good communication skills
• Good to have knowledge PostgreSQL DB admin
• Conversant with Incident management tools ITIL Knowledge
• Good to have knowledge DB2/MYSQL(Secondary)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 

• Candidate should be able to support PostgreSQL database single handed and flexible for 24*7
• Candidate should have hands on in PostgreSQL security,patching, replication etc
• Hands on experience in Prformance Tuning
• Exposure of user management and handling/troubleshooting of operation activities
• Proficient in backup and recovery methods on LUW environmemt
