Post Production Editor / Animator

Role Summary:

• Create high-quality, engaging multimedia content for Quickbase's marketing strategy.
• Assemble recorded footage into polished, storytelling-driven video projects.
• Add visual and audio enhancements including music, dialogue, effects, and motion graphics.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet the company's creative vision.
• Contribute to the success of marketing by eliminating 'Gray Work' through clear communication via video.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and manipulate film to ensure seamless, invisible transitions for viewers.
• Understand and interpret briefs from the production team to meet creative goals.
• Review raw footage and scripts to generate a shot decision list that preserves continuity and enhances narrative flow.
• Trim and organize footage to produce coherent sequences.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into videos.
• Enhance visuals using special effects and motion graphics techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving video editing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Maximize efficiency and storytelling effectiveness with new technologies and tools.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing and post-production.
• Bachelor's degree in Film or a related field.
• Proven professional experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in digital editing technologies and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Understanding of special effects, 3D, motion graphics, and compositing techniques.
• Deep awareness of digital content trends and editing principles.
• Strong storytelling ability and creative thinking.
