We are seeking an Automation Test Lead with extensive experience in Automation Testing, specifically with hands-on experience in Playwright and Cypress Automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in DB testing using SQL and must have robust experience with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience in Agile-based testing and the Banking domain is essential. You should also demonstrate strong team and task management skills, exposure to Selenium Automation and API testing, and proficiency in Defect Management using Jira and QC ALM. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy & Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation test suites using Playwright and Cypress Automation.
• Database Testing: Perform strong DB testing using SQL, including complex query writing for data validation and integrity checks.
• Test Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), ensuring best practices are followed from planning to execution and reporting.
• Agile & Domain Expertise: Work effectively within Agile-based testing methodologies and apply deep knowledge of the Banking domain to testing efforts.
• Team & Task Management: Demonstrate strong team and task management skills, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of automation goals.
• Defect Management: Manage defects proficiently using Jira and QC ALM, including logging, tracking, and reporting.
• Client Interaction: Possess good communication skills and the ability to work with clients directly, gathering requirements and providing status updates.
• Tool Exposure: Leverage exposure to Selenium Automation and API testing for comprehensive test coverage.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
