Plant Manager Technical

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Directly responsible for production activities during shifts.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor production metrics and drive operational excellence.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Lead installation and commissioning of line equipment including filling machines, ergo-block systems, mixers, pumps, blow molding machines, labelers, shrink wrappers, palletizers, conveyors, and pasteurizers.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of utility equipment including air compressors (LP & HP), boilers, refrigeration plants, CO₂ storage/generation systems, diesel generators, AHU, and cooling towers.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of all production and utility machinery.
• Attend and resolve breakdowns with effective troubleshooting.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform Pareto analysis to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Responsible for annual maintenance planning and execution.

Utilities & Process Management:

• Manage operation and maintenance of utilities including air compressors, boilers, refrigeration units, cooling towers, AHU, ETP, and WTP.
• Oversee process equipment such as pumps, concentrate mixers, agitators, gearboxes, actuator valves, pneumatic control systems, CIP pumps and control systems, sugar dumping and mixing systems, homogenizers, etc.
• Supervise general maintenance activities including pipelines, fire-fighting systems, and facility blocks.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to quality control systems and food safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and central regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 45 personnel including utility operators, fitters, and electricians.
• Mentor and develop plant staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.

Budget & Reporting:

• Develop and manage plant budgets with cost optimization strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance, downtime, safety, and operational improvements to senior management.
