Plant Head Manufacturing (TV Division)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee complete plant operations , including production, quality, maintenance, materials, and dispatch.
• Full ownership of PL management , including budgeting, cost optimization, capacity utilization, and resource planning.
• Supervise and manage a large cross-functional workforce with a strong focus on productivity, safety, and team development.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality, compliance, and safety standards across all manufacturing processes.
• Implement world-class manufacturing practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kaizen to ensure continuous improvement.
• Drive line balancing to ensure optimal distribution of workloads across assembly stations, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance throughput
• Drive effective manpower planning , training, and performance management of shopfloor and technical staff.
• Work closely with RD, procurement, and supply chain teams to align production schedules with delivery targets.
• Monitor and drive operational KPIs including yield, downtime, rejection rates, OTIF, and OEE.
• Provide strategic inputs for plant expansion , layout optimization, and automation roadmap.
• Maintain robust coordination with HO, business heads, and external stakeholders including licensors and OEM/ODM partners.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering ; Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
• 15 22 years of progressive leadership in electronics manufacturing; TV manufacturing experience strongly preferred .
• Open to candidates from Mobile or Laptop assembly background with relevant experience in similar manufacturing ecosystems .
• Strong exposure to electrical assembly lines , SMT, testing processes, and backward integration manufacturing models.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale teams across multiple verticals production, QA, maintenance, and logistics.
• Sound understanding of PL, cost controls, CapEx, and process optimization .
• Familiarity with statutory compliance, labor laws, EHS norms , and ESG practices.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with the ability to operate in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
