Piping Stress Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Piping Stress Analysis:

• Perform stress analysis using CAESAR II, Rohr2, or AutoPIPE.
• Evaluate thermal expansion, seismic, wind, steam hammer, and other dynamic loads on piping systems.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, and other relevant codes and standards.

Design & Documentation Support:

• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Prepare technical reports, stress analysis documentation, and support design reviews.
• Provide input on pipe support design and selection.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work with piping designers, civil/structural engineers, and project managers to resolve stress-related issues.
• Participate in field walkdowns and support construction and commissioning activities.
• Interface with clients and vendors to ensure technical requirements are met.

Project Management & Execution:

• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Work under tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Be self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible.
