Phlebotomist

Aster Medcity is looking for Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

• Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture, fingerstick, or heelstick
• Ensure the proper identification of patients and their blood samples, and accurately label each sample with the patient's name and other relevant information
• Transport blood samples to the laboratory for testing and analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain sample integrity
• Monitor patient reactions and provide appropriate care and support during and after the blood collection process
• Maintain accurate records of all blood collections and patient interactions, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that blood samples are collected and handled appropriately for each patient
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment and work area, and dispose of all used needles and other materials in accordance with safety protocols
