Medication Management: Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to develop personalized medication management plans for chronic conditions or complex drug therapies.
Drug Information: Stay updated with the latest drug information, including new medications, dosage forms, and potential drug interactions. Provide evidence-based information to other healthcare professionals and patients.
Pharmacy Operations: Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, proper inventory management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compounding Medications: In some settings, pharmacists may be involved in preparing customized medications, especially in hospital or specialty pharmacy settings.
