Performance Engineer / Analyst (Solar Power Plant)

We are seeking a motivated Performance Engineer/Analyst to join our plant performance team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing performance gaps and identifying opportunities for improvement in solar power plants. You will also be crucial in preparing and reporting key performance metrics to various stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination and continuous enhancement of our centralized monitoring and maintenance systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
• Monitor plant performance against budgeted targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Analyze performance across different equipment, technologies, geographies, and asset ages.
• Keep track of plant performance and report any shortfalls to customers for their attention.
• Conduct plant performance analysis and monitor O&M KPIs such as PR (Performance Ratio), PA (Plant Availability), GA (Grid Availability), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Response Time, and Resolution Time.
• Reporting & Communication:
• Prepare monthly insights reports for O&M teams and customers.
• Report key performance metrics to various stakeholders.
• Work directly with customer O&M teams to ensure smooth coordination related to performance management.
• System & Process Improvement:
• Work with the analytics team, customer support, and product engineering to identify new approaches for improving the Apollo enterprise software for the Centralized Monitoring System (CMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Highlight areas for improvement in solar power plants.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in engineering or a related technical field.
