Pen Testers

We are seeking a highly skilled and ethical Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying vulnerabilities in our systems, networks, and applications through simulated cyberattacks. This role requires deep technical expertise in various penetration testing methodologies, a strong understanding of security frameworks, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations to enhance our overall security posture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, network infrastructure, cloud environments, and other systems to identify security weaknesses.
• Perform vulnerability assessments to discover and classify security flaws.
• Develop detailed penetration test plans, methodologies, and reports, clearly documenting findings, risks, and recommended remediation steps.
• Utilize a wide array of penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, Wireshark, Kali Linux tools) effectively.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls.
• Perform manual exploitation of identified vulnerabilities to confirm their existence and potential impact.
• Conduct social engineering simulations and physical security assessments as required.
• Stay updated with the latest exploits, attack techniques, and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to explain findings and provide technical guidance on remediation strategies.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for improving security posture based on test results.
• Participate in post-engagement reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of penetration testing processes.
• Adhere to ethical hacking principles and ensure all activities are conducted within legal and ethical boundaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or Ethical Hacker.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), web technologies, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in common penetration testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST, PTES).
• Hands-on experience with various penetration testing tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and exploit development.
• Understanding of vulnerability management processes and security frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex systems for security flaws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN, eJPT) are highly desirable.
