Pediatric Registrar

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and monitor pediatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
• Assist in the management of acute and chronic conditions in neonates, infants, and children under supervision of consultants.
• Perform and interpret necessary investigations, including blood tests, imaging, and developmental assessments.
• Participate in ward rounds, emergency calls, and neonatal resuscitations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) for each patient.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and departmental training activities.

Candidate Profile:

• Medical degree (MBBS) with valid registration.
• Postgraduate training in Pediatrics (DCH, MD, DNB, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially in neonatal and pediatric emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering child-centered care.
