Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll professional to manage all payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries for both permanent and contract employees. This role also involves handling statutory compliance, managing employee queries, and driving the digitalization of payment processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll function to ensure timely payment of salaries.
  • Manage contract employee salary payments.
  • Ensure filing of TDS, PF, Prof Tax, and other statutory returns.
  • Report MIS for manpower cost and numbers.
  • Handle employee queries with regard to salaries and Income Tax.
  • Handle employee reimbursements as per the travel policy.
  • Identification of risks (present and future) and ensuring effective risk mitigation of the process.
  • Driving implementation of improvement measures.
  • Digitalization of the current employee payments process to drive efficiency and transparency, including quick turn-around time.
  • Work in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of services.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliances including TDS, PF, and Prof Tax.
  • Experience in handling employee queries related to salaries and tax.
  • Ability to generate and analyze MIS reports.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement processes and travel policies.
  • Expertise in risk management and process improvement.
  • Experience with digitalization projects for payment processes.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
