In this role, we are looking for a detail-oriented Policy & Compliance professional to support marketplace policies, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The role involves reviewing product listings against internal policies and regulations, conducting risk assessments, drafting policies, and implementing compliance controls. You will also work with technology teams to develop compliance tools and monitor rules to help maintain a safe and compliant marketplace.
Responsibilities

.Apply item policies and compliance rules to determine whether products are allowed on the platform or require removal
.Review and update item policies to ensure they meet regulatory and internal requirements
.Draft and maintain clear policy documentation
.Conduct risk assessments for product categories, sellers, and compliance exposure
.Evaluate seller processes and the effectiveness of compliance controls
.Identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements
.Make decisions on product approvals, restrictions, or takedowns based on policies
.Implement and launch compliance controls to manage risks
.Monitor rules and controls to ensure they work effectively
.Manage policy updates and communication changes internally and externally
.Maintain regular updates for product categories to ensure compliance
.Work with product and engineering teams to improve compliance tools and automation
.Benchmark industry practices and incorporates insights into policy and compliance strategies
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in business, Law, Public Policy, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Relevant years of experience in policy, compliance, risk management, marketplace governance, or regulatory operations
.Good understanding of US regulatory compliance, product governance, and policy frameworks
.Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, Tech, and Operations
.Strong analytical and decision-making skills
