Clinical Pathology

Perform gross examination, dissection, and microscopic analysis of surgical specimens, including biopsies, resections, and autopsies, to diagnose diseases and conditions.
Interpret histological, cytological, immunohistochemical, and molecular pathology findings to provide accurate and reliable diagnoses.
Collaborate with clinical colleagues, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists, to integrate pathology findings into patient care and treatment planning.
Communicate pathology findings effectively to clinicians and other members of the healthcare team through written pathology reports, verbal consultations, and interdisciplinary conferences.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Supervise and mentor pathology residents, medical technologists, and other laboratory staff in specimen processing, analysis, and reporting.
